Our Children Are Being Thrown in The Lions Den!

We as parents, grandparents we have a responsibility, we are the gatekeepers of our Nation of Shinnecock. Our children are under attack, another school shooting, where three young girls the age of 9 with teachers were gun down.

A leader has a sense of contribution to their generation, they don’t sit around playing the blame game, and pointing fingers.

Our younger generation is our future, I want to encourage our young people. We have a huge challenge in front of us, huge and the challenge is their being exposed and challenged by things we never thought, we never got exposed to the mess you hear and see today.

Our children are in a spiritual war like never before. Our children need to be nurtured and developed in the things of God; because there is a world out there; there is an enemy out there who is real and alive, and the world is cold. Every generation has evil to fight. The forces of darkness don’t wait for us to be ready for their attack.

It’s time to lock arms and pray with and over our children and grandchildren:

The mark of spiritual maturity is when you can walk-arm-to arm without seeing eye to eye on every issue. When you love like God loves we don’t abuse each other, we nurture, protect, lift, build up, we don’t abuse relationships. No, devil in hell can stop and beat a group of people with a common bond.

We can’t shy away from reminding our family our Nation we need to stay united with each other; quarrels are the enemy’s way of dragging us apart and making us weaker at the same time.

Don’t allow the Devil to use you to hold grudges over trivial things.

Pray: It opens the windows of heaven and closes the gates of hell. Our children model what they see and hear.

When we pray: It’s seeking the Presence of God and releasing the power of God which gives us the means to overcome any problem; When we pray, we humble ourselves before God ( Creator) and saying,” I need Your Presence and Your power, Lord. I can’t do this without You.”

When we don’t pray, it’s like saying we have no need of anything outside of ourselves.

Love Pastor!
