Psalm 50:23 says, He who brings and offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies me.

I sincerely believe that if we will start spending more time being thankful to Him (God, Creator) and get over murmuring and complaining, we will begin to see changes in our lives. God moves for a heart that is thankful.

If not it’s easy to get upset, frustrated and discouraged at life, at people, and it just causes more harm to you.

The devil himself will set you up to get discouraged and will use the people closest to your heart!

The word discouragement means to be “without courage.” Satan wants to discourage you and I because if you are “without courage” you will not be able to rise and face the challenges in front of you.

In order to protect yourself while you’re in a difficult season, you are going to have to be and remain strong. If you lack spiritually, spiritually you are in trouble. See, the Word of God is for people with a backbone not a wishbone, but back-bone!

Strength is required to defeat this enemy who you cannot see with the natural eye, but he attacks us and distracts us to try and stop us from moving forward, he wants you to lose focus.

That is why I love the Word. It teaches us that when we are weak, and we all get weak, it’s just a matter of admitting it; but for a believer we can rely on God’s strength and not ours.

One way He strengthens us is through the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit for a spirit–filled life. He is the third eye in any situation. We cannot live according to God’s will without the Holy Spirit.

He will never leave you broken down on the side of the road. Because when you are filled with the Holy Ghost power you can face whatever life brings!

So, what do you do, where do you go when discouraged by life? Some people sit in it, lay in it. It’s like a strong condition of fog that just moved in. See after a while fog will dissipate on its own it will lift; but discouragement and depression are something else, the demon of depression, and discouragement must be shaken. Light drives out darkness!

Remember now, Human effort can’t stop a spiritual foe…………
